Avrum's Bio
I've been a therapist for over 15 years in Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto. My approach combines Family Systems, Psychodynamic and Mindfulness perspectives. Prior to my private practise, I have worked as supervisor of Youth Outreach at CAMH; therapist on the Mood and Psychosis Early Intervention Program of CMHA; individual and family therapist at Odyssey: Substance Abuse Services for Youth and Families; and founder of MN8 SOUND: a record label/recording studio for at-risk youth, sponsored by Universal Music Canada.

Ongoing projects include producing the podcast "Teens and Tweens: Interviews with experts in adolescent mental health and addictions" for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and composing music for independent and documentary films.
My degrees include a Masters of Social Work from McGill University, a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from Concordia University, and a certificate in New Media technologies from Demers College.
I live in Toronto with my wife, who is a child and adolescent psychiatrist, our son, and a lop-eared rabbit named Lester.
